Hi, I’m Jess.
I’m a wife of 17 years and a mom to sixteen amazing kids—some through birth, others through adoption, and all through love. Our home is full, loud, and bursting with life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve spent most of my life surrounded by babies, whether through raising my own, caring for foster infants, or supporting new families as a doula.
Even as a teenager, while my friends were at school dances or football games, I was happily babysitting. Caring for little ones always felt natural and meaningful to me. Looking back, I realize those evenings were the first steps on the path I’m still walking today.
My history is rooted in caregiving. For nearly 12 years, I was a foster mom, welcoming children of all ages into our home, many of them medically fragile infants. Those years taught me resilience, compassion, and the power of community. Alongside that, I worked as a nanny and eventually found my calling as a postpartum doula, walking beside families during those first tender weeks at home.
Outside of my work, I love newborn photography and capturing the moments that pass all too quickly. I find joy in fishing, camping, and off-road adventures with my family. I love days at the beach, exploring new places, and trying foods from different cultures. I live for the laughter of my kids, the quiet late-night talks with my husband, and the privilege of walking with other families as they grow.
What I live for is connection—holding space for parents in their most vulnerable season while cherishing every memory with my own family. I’ve learned that families don’t need perfection; they need presence. That’s what I promise to bring.
